EDU 395 Goals

          After completing EDU 395 (the second observation), I revised my EDU 202 Goals that I had created after my first observation to read as follows:

            1)  To continue exploring new material and new approaches toward topics to keep myself and the students interested and refreshed in English.

            2)  To begin and remain firm with students and myself in order to maintain an organized and productive classroom, free of preventable distractions.  Yet still maintain a comfortable and trustworthy environment.

            3)  To always inform myself and the students why we are studying the topic at hand and why it is important on a micro and macro level, as well as how it relates to other subjects.

            4)  To allow education to expand and explore my own thoughts, ideas, and beliefs about all subjects, as well as teach students how education can do the same for them.

            5)  To guide students along a path of learning that is challenging, vigorous, entertaining, enlightening, and memorable.
